Welcome to our community!

We're the Greenhaus Community - a residential community in Newtown, Wellington. We used to live in a large house built in 1906, with lots of friends living near by. In February 2016, nearly all of us moved out of the big haus and we handed it over to our friends the INK Community. Now we live somewhere nearby in a multitude of different houses connected to one another.

Greenhaus Weekend Away 2012

A brief summary (with photos to follow).

This year on our weekend away we had:
3 baby monitors
2 highchairs
6 iPhones (isn't there a bit in the Bible where satan tempts Eve with an apple...?)
& 80 small boys with guns...

We also had:
An epic dinner/dessert combo on Saturday night, thanks to Josh, Chris, Maria & Debs (hamburgers with wedges, followed by banoffee pie & gf/df crumble. Yum!).
A long walk, involving nature, wildlife & snacks.
Piano concerts.
A crazy photo scavenger hunt (slideshow to come).
Fun.
SOME sleep.

And, most importantly, quantities of quality time with quality people.

While I was writing this post, my phone kept trying to correct "guns" to "gums"... "80 small boys with gums" true, but not quite the full picture!
